There will be AM Guided rides available through the equine office.
Reservations for the Mother’s Day Brunch are due Friday, May 3rd to the office. Weather permitting, we will be at the Cottonwood Campground. If bad weather, at the Ranch House. There’s also a horseback ride to the campground for those interested in riding to the brunch. Ride reservations are due to the equine department Friday, May 10th by noon. Thank you!
It’s that time of the year again. Time to get the Flying X spruced up with some spring cleaning! This year Partner Work Weekend is scheduled for May 4-5. Breakfast is served from 7-8 AM- breakfast burritos Saturday morning and oatmeal, cereal, muffins and leftover burritos Sunday morning. Lunch is 12-1 PM with customize your own lunchmeat sandwiches and chips. Saturday evening at 6PM is dinner of lasagna, green salad and garlic bread.
This year’s focus is fire prevention around the living areas and horse pastures. There’s lots of grass left from last year and this has been a dry winter. The ranch has rakes, shovels and clippers. The ranch has a couple of chainsaws, so if you have one please bring it with you.
Please let the office know if you are planning on coming to Partner Work Weekend. It helps for the food planning 🙂
Thank you and see you soon!
